Full-service research consultancy using conversational insight solutions and utilizing game-changing, proprietary conversational technologies is looking for an entrepreneurial business builder to develop a world class Financial Services practice that leverages our unique mobile messaging-based research technology. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10-15 years of vendor-side primary research experience in the Financial Services industry as a trusted client partner, solutions architect, business manager, staff/team builder and industry thought leader.

Responsibilities:
  • Building new Financial Services business unit from the ground up, including the development of capabilities, the client-base, the client services/ fulfillment team, the marketing/ GTM plan, etc.
  • Leveraging our unique technology and research philosophies to create a robust, innovative capabilities suite for leaders in the Financial Services industry.
  • Unlock and grow new client relationships with Fortune 500 Financial Services clients.

Description:

Market research company who works with clients to better assess and manage opportunity and risk with a focus on domestic and international film and television, digital and mobile is looking for a Senior Research Manager who will supervise all aspects of assigned research projects. This includes measuring consumer reaction for upcoming movies, television shows, and digital media programming, and working with major and emerging entertainment brands to develop release strategies. The job is looking for a leader to take ownership of projects from start to finish, and someone who will mentor junior team members to help strengthen their research knowledge.This job can be remote, West Coast location preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate assigned components of custom online research studies, test screenings, focus groups, exit polls, advertising surveys, etc.
  • Partner with Senior VP of Research Solutions to manage syndicated services and offerings.
  • Identify design, logic, and data errors when auditing questionnaires, online programs, data tabulations, coded open ends, reports, other data layouts, etc.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships and communication with internal partners and vendors to ensure timely completion of all aspects of each project.
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal processes to expedite deliverables to internal partners and clients.
  • Special projects, assignments, and other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or executive team members.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of supplier-side market research experience.
  • Experience with various market research methodologies.
  • Experience managing research projects independently from start to finish including managing tasks, delegating effectively, and adhering to timelines/deadlines.
  • Knowledgeable of marketing concepts such as brand health and positioning, and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience working with and manipulating large and complex quantitative data sets.
  • Understanding of effective survey design and ability to create questionnaires to meet varying research needs.
  • A passion for movies and TV shows
  • BA/BS with strong academic record and analytical background.
  • Knowledge of MS Office & Outlook required; Experience with business-related software such as Survey Monkey, Qualtrics, MS SQL, SPSS and/or R knowledge preferred.
  • Internet-savvy with an ability to problem-solve issues by using online resources.

This job can be remote, West Coast location preferred.

  • Assists with all components of custom online research studies, test screenings, focus groups, exit polls, advertising surveys, etc.
  • Identify design, logic, and data errors when auditing questionnaires, online programs, data tabulations, coded open ends, reports, other data layouts, etc.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships and communication with internal partners and vendors to ensure delivery of all requested project materials.
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal processes to expedite deliverables to internal partners and clients.
  • Support and assist members of the Research Solutions team as needed; completes special projects, project tasks, and other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or executive team members.
  • On occasion, some late night and weekend availability will be required.

Requirements:
  • A passion for movies and TV shows
