Description:

Market Research firm that applies quantitative and qualitative methodologies with a focus on conducted market research studies for health care organizations is looking for a solid market research professional ideally with prior market research vendor experience. The Market Research Project Manager is responsible for managing custom and strategy market research projects to ensure quality research is delivered on-time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute complex marketing research projects
  • Communicate project specifications
  • Consult with internal teams, allocate resources, and coordinate project activities
  • Design market research questionnaires and other field materials
  • Procure samples for market research studies

This role will fully manage the daily activities/relationship of an approved level of designated accounts.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing business from inactive clients, as well as expanding business from the individual’s existing client base.
  • Responsible for sales of company services/products to clients.
  • Must be perceived by the client as an expert in understanding their research needs.
  • Uncover new business opportunities within client base.
  • Develop and help maintain client relationships by conducting regular proactive contact campaigns to generate business.
  • Provide smooth transition of accounts to the sales support staff through effective internal communications and proper client profile documentation.

Title: Controller

Description:

With two recent FDA approvals and a major pharmaceutical partnership in place, this New Jersey-based Pharmaceutical Company is preparing to go public and is seeking a senior level Controller to assist with these efforts. The main focus of this role is to work closely with Senior Management, the Company’s auditing firm, legal counsel, and the underwriting syndicate to prepare the Company for an IPO in the near future, and then to implement and maintain all necessary compliance and reporting requirements post-IPO.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day to day accounting functions of the Company
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports of financial results of the Company
  • Oversee and manage the Company’s quarterly and annual budgeting process, and prepare timely actuals to budget variance reporting for management
  • Serve as in-house subject matter expert on all Accounting and Tax related matters
  • Lead interactions and communications with internal and external advisors and auditors for quarterly, and year-end audits
  • Implement and oversee all necessary compliance procedures and policies
  • Select and implement accounting system upgrades as necessary
  • Ready the company for IPO and SEC reporting
  • Coordinate financial and disclosure contributions to the Company’s S-1 filing
  • Coordinate timely preparation and submission of 10Q’s and 10K’s and oversee all SEC required reporting and filings
  • Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • 2+ years of experience as Controller or Assistant Controller for a publicly traded company
  • CPA strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, SEC and other related reporting requirements
  • IPO preparation experience preferred
  • Accounting experience both at major auditing firm and venture-backed companies preferred
  • Ability to lead the company through annual budgeting, financial reporting, and audit cycles
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred.
